KND Investments, an Alaska owned and operated company has been developing condominium projects for the past seven years. Ken Duffus, President and CEO of KND Investments has worked in Anchorage and the surrounding communities for twenty years, as a Professional Engineer. He started with the Municipality of Anchorage Public Works Department and maintained his position for fourteen years. Ken worked first hand with permitting and land development as an Engineer for the MOA. His experience from working with the MOA and time spent in the field enables Ken to review future building sites and maintain the best attributes of the land. KND Investments uses Ken’s knowledge to provide Anchorage with premium affordable housing.

Past condominium projects developed by KND Investments include:.

• In 1996 a five unit condominium project was completed in Eagle River called Coronado Place. After the completion of Coronado Place came Rosewood Park. Rosewood Park was a 16unit development located on East 74^th Avenue in Anchorage.
• In 2000 KND developed a 3.4 acre tract containing 52 units named Laurel Park. This project was a duplex style plan and included public utilities, paved roads and fenced yards. In the final phases of Laurel Park an 8.9 acre site was purchased and Campbell Green Heights was started. This project was a 116 unit development with the same attributes of Laurel Park, this project was finished in less then sixteen months.
• In 2002 two concurrent projects were built. Cloverwood was first, a 26 unit development in East Anchorage. The second, Kendall Crossing consisting of 40 units, was built on the lower hillside. Continuing with the commitment for premium housing both of those projects included the amenities of the fore mentioned developments. These developments were sold out prior to completion.

KND continues to grow and develop quality housing in Anchorage, proposing a 200 unit development to start near the end of 2002.

As a company KND has received praise for a continuing effort to build quality housing at an exceptional value. Typically our construction time is 120 days from start to closing.  In addition all of KND developments have met AHFC and FHA requirements.
